Sara has been working in the health and wellness industry for 10 years now, and initially discovered her love of fitness at 12 years old at her first Yoga class.  Not being the typical "athletic" type, practicing Yoga and Pilates was accessible, welcoming, enjoyable, yet still challenging. Through the practice of Yoga, Sara realized health and well being should be viewed from a holistic perspective, and includes the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual parts of ourselves. She first was certified as a 200 hr Yoga Teacher Trainer through Sonic Yoga at 18, and continued her education over the years. This includes a 300 hr Yoga Teacher Training through Yogaworks, a 100 hr Anatomy YTT through Yoga 216, PiYo Training, and the NESTA PFT Certification. Sara also expanded into working with larger corporations such as LA Fitness, teaching Yoga and group fitness classes such as Spin and Bootcamps. These certifications and experiences have allowed her to work privately with clients, teaching from a holistic lens and including the importance of mind, body, and spirit wellness. Sara is now continuing her Masters Degree in Environmental Science, and has recently completed Permaculture Design Certifications abroad. She is passionate about environmental health and sustainability, and believes human health is directly linked to the wellbeing of the planet. Sara strives to continue her education in preventative health and environmental science to create a future that is sustainable for people and the planet!
